Welcome to Mystic Illusions!  I began writing this story in the Stories and Legacies forum of the official Sims 3 website. The site has gone read-only, so I'm moving everything to this blog, but you can also follow along on my thread on the new Sims Forum here.

In Mystic Illusions, I will share the journey of Maia Lee, a Sim destined to become a 100 Baby Challenge mother. 

While this is a 100 Baby Challenge, it’s also story-based, so I have modified some of the rules.  Here are the guidelines I’m following for this challenge:

• I’ll be playing on the epic lifetime span with days maxed.
• Each pregnancy will have a different father 
• Maia may or may not remain single throughout the course of the challenge, depending on what happens in the story.
• Maia will be starting out as a magician before she begins her challenge, so the normal career limitations for challenge parents will not apply.
• Maia’s children will be bringing their Imaginary Friend dolls to life as long as it fits in the plot. Maia will raise them as her own, though the IF’s will NOT count as Maia’s children.
• Toddlers will be taught to walk, talk and use the potty before aging up. Children and teens must make it on the honor roll and teens will also be taught to drive before aging.
• Once a new addition to the family is made, each child will be aged up to the next category (after achieving all their goals for that stage).
• YA children will be moved out after graduation to pursue their own dreams and make room for the newcomers.

• I use minimal cheats (resetSim, MOO), and I do use mods, mostly for overstuffing households.
